Punta Cana
My family and I took a trip to Punta Cana for 10 days to celebrate the new year. We stayed at the RIU Palace and I absolutely have no regrets about this trip. First of all let me just say the beach was a beautiful light blue color and the sand was so white and fluffy, it’s exactly what you would picture when you think of a “perfect beach.” In my previous post I stated that I love traveling to places where you can live and learn their traditional culture. Well, same goes with Punta Cana. You meet tons of nice locals that are selling things like jewelry, fresh fruit, fresh caught fish!! (My favorite) fresh coconuts, and tons more stuff! They also have little markets that are right on the water where you can buy a lot of cool souvenirs. What I love the most about this place is there is ALWAYS something to do on the beach. I know laying down and getting tan can get boring after a while, but not on this beach. Everyday you will find yourself busy with something. Out of the 10 days we probably left the resort once and that was for the ATVs. Punta Cana is safe, fun, and full of adventure and you don’t even have to leave your resort to experience all the fun! I can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t been I definitely suggest you put this on your list :-)
